Building services electrical design engineer with over 15 years in the industry.  Able to design and project manage projects both as an individual and as part of a team.  Past projects range from the design for a new performing arts block in a school to the team leader role of a £350M corporate headquarters building.

• General design and specification of lighting, power, fire alarms, security systems


• HV/LV installations

• Lift & escalator traffic analysis, design & specification


• Computer room infrastructure & installations

• Standby generators (both single units & multiple units operating in sync)


• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (single & parallel configurations)

In addition to design and project management, associated experience has been gained in Facilities Management and the management of maintenance contractors.  This has been of benefit when undertaking design works, knowing how the system can be operated, maintained and modified in the future.

Various projects have been carried out in occupied buildings and the need to minimise disruption in these situations is fully understood.  The most notable occupied installation undertaken to date is the reinforcement of the standby power system for an operating leisure corporation data centre HQ building.
